Region One encompasses the northwestern part of Minnesota. The region meets four times a year with the location of the meetings alternating between facilities in the region.

Region One will host the annual Activity Aide workshop in April. The location of this year's event will be in Ada. Please contact the Region Representative for specific time and location.

Schedule of meetings for 2008

February 29, 2008
This meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. in Red Lake Falls with a special guest speaker Karen Lesetmoe, P.A. Karen's topic will be on wellness.

August 2008
This meeting will be is to be determined. Please contact the Region Representative for details.

October 2008
The fall meeting will be held at the MNSWAP fall conference in October at the Holiday Inn, St. Cloud.  

Region 1 focus will be on planning for the 2009 conference during the region meetings of this coming year. Your input and support from all of the members throughout the region is needed.  Please call me or email me with any input, ideas, or questions and plan to attend Region 1 meetings.
