Enhancing Performance Through Mindfulness and “Practicing Mindfulness Skills

This session will focus on why we need to implement mindfulness in our lives and how to use mindfulness to relieve anxiety, stress, depression, and to deal with life’s transitions and physical health conditions.

Speaker: Fay Prairie, Master’s Degree in Counseling from SDSU, certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors

Session Objectives:
Research studies on the benefits of mindfulness
Describe how mindfulness physically changes your brain
Identify what’s possible when you implement mindfulness in your life
Identify ten Mindfulness Skills and how to use and implement them in your life.
