PRESENTER: Ann Holme, Regional Ombudsman for Long-Term Care, serving 10 counties.
Credentials: B.S. degree from South Dakota State University; additional coursework for Administrator licensing at Concordia College and Moorhead State University in social work, gerontology, gerontological nursing, health care systems and finances, and long-term care administration. Licensed MN nursing home administrator, and Certified Eden Alternative Associate.

TOPIC: Professional Boundaries and Ethics:
Ethical standards are in place for a wide range of professions. This seminar looks at the challenges of applying those standards in the helping profession. The format includes an overview of professional role, introduction of an ethical decision making model, and application of the model to common challenges faced in a rural service delivery environment.
